January Social - BINGO!  (Monthly Social)

Come and enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship with lodge members as we play bingo.  Bring your family and a prospective member.  There will be no charge for the bingo cards but prizes will be awarded for the winners.  The lodge will be providing chips and beverages along with a surprise treat that you will not want to miss.  We will be holding a short business meeting to elect our 2026 Borgund  Lodge Board members.  Sign-up sheets will also be circulated for upcoming events and classes.

Save the date!  We will be holding a Norwegian cooking class.  Come and learn how to make Norwegian treats and enjoy tasting these delicacies .  Further details will be announced.

We have had a great response to our Spring Culture Classes.  The following classes still have room if you are interested:

Note:  Rosemaling and Woodcarving are now full, however, we do have a waiting list for the upcoming Fall Culture Classes.

"You Can't Know Where You're Going, Until You Know Where You've Been: Growing Roots"  (Monthly Social)

Kari Glood Kuipers and her sister will be presenting their family story of discovering Norway through their mother's drive to find Norwegian relatives and what it was like when their mother brought Norway into their lives:  from their very first trip when Kari's sister was 8 and Kari was 15, to becoming family with relatives they had never known, to attending the Lillehammer Olympics, to Kari's sister meeting her husband there and bringing him to the United States and raising Norwegian children here, and to the third generation now connecting with relatives.  Guests are welcome.

Ellen Glood will be sharing her interest in Norwegian literature and highlighting acclaimed authors and books she has read.  Join us for an engaging exploration of Norwegian literature.  Even if you are not an avid reader, you will enjoy the storytelling that Ellen will be sharing. Please bring a treat to share.  Guests are welcome.
