Rick Mills from the South Dakota State Railroad Museum will be presenting a program on railroads that our ancestors may have traveled as well as other interesting railroad photographs.  If you have any railroad photos of your ancestors, please bring and share with us.  Guests are welcome!

Icelandic Njál's Saga Tapestry Workshop - Traveling Tapestry  (Events of Interest)

An embroidery (tapestry) workshop will be presented by Claudia Petursson, North American Representative for the the Njál's Saga Tapestry Exhibition of Iceland.  She will explain the traveling Icelandic tapestry exhibit and participants will be able to participate in the embroidery class--learning the stitches for the tapestry.  All the practice materials are free.   Class is limited to 14.  If you have not signed up, please do so asap.
